In addition to making donations from their established funds, B’nai Tzedek teens participate in community philanthropy through hands on volunteering and awarding $10,000 to local Jewish organizations.  

How to Start a Non-Profit

Tuesday, November 17 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B'nai Tzedek Kickoff

Monday, November 23 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B’nai Tzedek Event (volunteer to setup FJFS Baby Pantry)

Monday, January 11 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B’nai Tzedek Meeting (students create 2021 grant application and plan January 25 event)

Friday January 15 - 2021 Grant Cycle opens to local Jewish non-profits

Monday, January 25 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - Non-Profit Panel Speaker Event – open to B’nai Tzedek students and families

Monday February 15 - 2021 Grant Cycle closes

Thursday, February 18 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B’nai Tzedek Grants Meeting (students review grant submissions)

Monday, March 1 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B’nai Tzedek Grants Meeting (students review grant applications and interview applicants on Zoom)

Wednesday, March 3 – 7:00 – 8:00 pm - B’nai Tzedek Grants Meeting (students interview applicants on Zoom and make final grant award decisions)
