Regional Security Director

Jewish Community Partners (JCP) – Memphis, in partnership with the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official national homeland security organization of the American Jewish community, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Regional Security Director position in Memphis, TN.

 

JCP/SCN seeks a qualified, dynamic results-oriented security professional to join our team to oversee local and regional community security programs and initiatives as a Regional Security Director.

 

Under the direction of SCN, the Regional Security Director will:

 

(1) serve as a representative of SCN as well as an expert security advisor, liaison, training coordinator as well as provider, and coordinating resource between SCN and local as well as regional partners, to include Jewish Community Partners (JCP) – Memphis, local, state as well as regionally located federal law enforcement, non-profit, public, private and other stakeholder organizations on community safety and security matters, to include physical and cyber issues;

 

(2) provide direction and maintain oversight for the development, organization, implementation and monitoring of the Greater Memphis Jewish community’s security operations and program, to include providing guidance and strategic direction to ensure the safety and security of all member institutions of the community;

 

(3) serve as a liaison during crisis response and mitigation efforts, assisting local incident commanders and/or serve as an incident commander during crisis response and mitigation efforts if requested and/or required.

 

This experienced professional must be highly organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven record of success and achievement in building partnerships, security and training programs and related projects.

 

He/she must possess broad-based knowledge of security protocols, threat investigations, physical security, training and emergency management and possess a Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and a minimum 10 years law enforcement, corporate, government or related homeland security experience.
